EBC Trek Route & Itinerary :

Your adventure begins in Kathmandu with a warm welcome and a night to rest before heading out. On Day 2, you’ll drive to Ramechhap and take a scenic flight to Lukla, the starting point of your trek. From there, the journey continues through beautiful Sherpa villages like Phakding and Namche Bazaar. You’ll acclimatize with a short hike to Everest View Hotel, followed by treks to Tengboche and Dingboche, with majestic views and rich cultural experiences along the way.

 

As you gain altitude, you’ll hike to Lobuche, then reach the goal of Everest Base Camp on Day 9. After that, catch an unforgettable sunrise from KalaPatthar, offering panoramic views of Mount Everest, before descending back through Pangboche and Namche Bazaar. The trek wraps up in Lukla, and you’ll fly back to Kathmandu for a farewell dinner and cultural celebration before your departure.

Common Challenges During the EBC Trek

1. Food

You should be prepared for some difficulties which arise during the trekking. You won’t find delicious food and first-class facilities in the higher regions. Saying that it won’t be that bad but it may not suit your usual preferences because of remote areas and lack of transportation, but surely we enable you to enjoy Nepalese hospitality and natural beauty to the fullest.

2. Networking & Communication

There can be occasional network issues. You will get decent signals in lower regions like Lukla, Namche Bazar, but there can be an issue in higher regions where the signal is very weak or nonexistent. You’ll find many tea houses and lodges that charge for Wi-Fi.

3. Altitude Sickness

Trekking from Lukla to base camp will be a journey of 65km (that is 130 km when traveling back) will take you from the height of 2860m to 5364m. Trekkers may have effects of high altitude, which may require you to descend before reaching base camp.
